I checked this out, but must not understand how it works, since it just seems like a bunch of unrelated comments rather than a connected conversation. What's with that?
Yes, for the most part each tweet is an independent short message. Twitter is meant to be consumed in real-time (each day/hour/minute), not read in bulk like a novel.
